The site at Noteworthy Farm is open all year and has just won the David Bellamy gold award for our Holiday park conservation

We offer static caravans which can sleep up to 6 people, we also welcome pets in some of our units as well as camping

Bude Beach is 6 miles and the market town of Holsworthy is 4 miles

Noteworthy farm is home of Yanchell Angora Goats which have appeared in Block Buster films such as Snow White and the Huntsman, the goats have also appeared on the Alan Titchmarsh show and BBC Spotlight

We host a monthly social Spinning and knitting group at the farm, and often farm tours as well as school and scout visits

COURSES

Introduction to Keeping Angora Goats
A one day course (10:00am – 4:00pm)
Sunday 9th April 2017 and Saturday 9th September 2017
At Linden, Jordans Lane, Pilley, Lymington, Hants. SO41 5QW.
The course is designed to give you an insight to what is involved in keeping Angora Goats and includes giving you a ‘hands on’ experience.
Cost: £55.00 to include lunch and refreshments.

Needlecraft Workshop
A one day course (10:00am – 4:00pm)

In this informal, friendly workshop you will learn the techniques of using wool fibres and a needlefelting needle to create a picture and a three dimensional object, such as balls, or an animal to take home with you. the techniques you learn will give you the skills to make flowers, brooches and embellish other materials.
The course is run by Frances Mason who has taught art to adults for twenty years and has been needlefelting for some years.
Cost: £35.00 to include all materials and use of tools, there will be the opportunity to purchase further fibre and equipment if you wish to. We will provide tea, coffee and biscuits, please bring your own lunch.

Sale of Silvermoor Mohair stock.

Due to retirement we are selling Silvermoor Mohair yarns at give-away prices.

Single ply 75% mohair & 25% merino wool, 200gm hanks undyed.
This yarn was used for the weft and warp in our products.
200gm hanks were £16.00 each. Now £2.00 a hank or 6 hanks for £10.00.

Pure kid mohair single ply yarn, 200gm hanks undyed and some hand dyed hanks.
This is the yarn used for our shawls and scarves.
200gm hanks were £18.00 each. Now £2.50 a hank or 5 hanks for £10.00.

Double knit yarn 75% mohair & 25% wool. 200gm hanks undyed.
This was used for our pull on hats.
200gms hanks were £16.00 each. Now £2.00 a hank.
